West Virginia were swept away by the

current in the Shumate Falls area of
Glyn Lyn Tuesday night.

The body of the 20 year old was
recovered Wednesday morning, but the 16
year old is still missing.

Claytor Lake actually held back
water last night for searchers.

Divers say the New River is now
lower, making search conditions better.

investigate a jet-ski accident on Smith
Mountain Lake that left one man dead.

According to the Department of
Game and Inland Fisheries, 53-year-old
James Hill of Hopewell died from
injuried he sustained after two-jet
skis collided in the Bedford County
section of the lake yesterday
afternoon.

Hill's son-in-law, William Clark
the fourth, was driving the other jet
ski and could face charges.

Authorities tell News7- initially
Hill was fine, but later in the day was

flown to RMH where he died.

Hill's grandson who was a
passenger on his jet ski was treated
and released for minor injuries.

This was the first fatality on
the lake this year.

series heads to Indianapolis for the
Brickyard 400.

The first NASCAR event at the
Indianapolis Motor Speedway back in
1994 was full of plenty of local flair.

Indy and won the pole position for the
Inaugural Brickyard 400.

It was quite a feat, but nothing
