NBC Sports Dale Earnhardt, Jr.'s day came to :00 a premature end on a restart at lap 61.
The field bunched up behind Casey
Mears, and Junior was tapped in the
rear by Mike Skinner, ending up with
his nose in the wall. He finished 43rd
and his shot at making the Chase is
likely done as well.

Jimmie Johnson lost the points
lead after blowing a tire at lap 144

and smacking the wall to bring out the
last of nine caution flags.

Stewart and Kahne had a spirited
battle over the final circuits, but
Tony the Tiger pulled away to take the
checkered flag by five car lengths.
It's his 4th victory in the past 6
races. Afterwards, Stewart had to lay
down to catch his breath.

An enormous root beer float was
unvelied at the Wisconsin State Fair.

Cedar Crest Ice Cream organized
the event in an attempt to make the
world's largest root beer float.

The ingrediants included 60
gallons of ice cream and 300 gallons of
root beer.

The float checked in at one ton.

Samples were handed out to
fairgoers once the float was topped
off, but there's no word on whether it
set a new record.
