Lord Botetourt Cavaliers Coach Keith Robinson's team
almost made it into the playoffs last
season with a late season surge.
One of the reasons the Cavs will
be in most every game this year is that
quarterback Matt Witt - a Friday
Football Extra player of the week a
season ago - is back.
More on the Cavs and their
chances in the Blue Ridge coming up
tonight on News 7 at Six.

Coming up at the top of the hour
- we'll step on post in Lexington and
see why things not only can but will
get better this season.
Take care everybody - Keith will

Maria Alquilar was paid 40 thousand
dollars last year to construct a mosaic
in front of the Livermore California
Library.
The artwork contain 175 words of
people and cultural works.
Unfortuantely she misspelled 11 of them
including Einstein, Shakespeare, and
Michelangelo.
Alquilar at first angrily refused to
fix them, saying the city was making
her a scapegoat.
But now a year later, she
relunctantly came back after the city
agreed to pay her another six thousand
dollars plus expenses.
City leaders said this time they
spellchecked her work BEFORE she got
started.
