Lynchburg had won 2 of the first 3
games of the series. So Salem brought
out Lady Luck to the ball-park to help
them out.
Salem was leading 1 to zip but the
Hillcats would comeback in the top of
the second. Justin Harris Bloops one
into right 2 runs would come into score
and the Hillcats would eventually lead
3 to 1.
The Avs come right back in the
bottom half of the frame. Mike Floyd
gets one through the hole in the
infield, Ben Zobrist gets on his horse
and scores from second to tie the game
at 3.
*CG final Lynchburg Salem not done yet, Hunter Pence gets
5 one to drop in the gap in right center,
Salem no collision tonight, Saul Torres
6 score and Avs win 6 to 5.

FSN Last night there was a bad
collision between 2 Hillcat's
outfielders tonight a brutal one in the
Mets-Padres game. Mike Cameron and
Carlos Beltran both dive head first and
collide. Beltran eventually walked
away, Cameron was taken off on a
stretcher with a neck brace. Cameron
is the hospital with a broken nose,
broken facial bones and a concussion.
The Mets lost the game 2 to 1.
From something scary to something
very bizarre. The bottom of the 9th in
the Angels-A's game, runners on second
and third 2 out and tied at 4. The
throw back to the pitcher gets away and
Jason Kendall comes racing home from
3rd to win the game in one of the
strangest endings to a game ever, A's
win 5 to 4.

TNT The first round of the year's final
Major, The P-G-A and Tiger Woods did
not get off to a good start to say the
least.
On the 7th hole putting for bogey,
Tiger gets the lip service and would
have to settle for double bogey, he
shot an opening round 75 which ties his
worst first round in the P-G-A ever.
Phil Mickelson had no such
problems, He is one of 6 golfers who
shot an opening round 67 to put him at
3 under par and tied for the lead.
Lefty had 5 birdies on the day and is
looking for his second career major.

When demand outpaces supply, the

VO-NAT Gasoline supplies are tight
because aging refineries are being
pushed to capacity.
That has produced problems like
the explosion at a B-P refinery near
Houston last month.
But the oil traders who
feverishly drove a barrel of oil up to
a record 66-dollars today were looking
ahead, not back. They see possible
supply disruptions growing from the
Middle East, tensions with Iran and a
threatening hurricane season.
