arrested three people in connection
with an attempted robbery at a local
restaurant.

The alleged incident happened around
midnight Tuesday at the McDonald's in
the Basset Forks area.

Authorities say the suspects
*assaulted* a worker and then bound him
with duct tape.

35-year-old William Massie, 26-year-old
Keisha Wooten and 22-year-old Courtney

charges -- including malicious wounding

The *Transportation Security
Administration* is looking at several

proposals -- including one that'll lift
the ban on carrying razor blades,small
knives and scissors.

The idea is to reduce checkpoint
hassles for the nation's two MILLION
passengers.

Another proposal would allow
travelers to keep their shoes on.

Right now, people must remove
their footwear before walking through
metal detectors.

The T-S-A is also looking into
reducing patdown searches and other
calls for giving some passengers
special treatment.

100 homes in southeastern Washington
State.

Firefighters are getting some
relief as temperatures dropped and

humidity rose in the region.

The cause of the blaze is still

were burning Friday in Western states.

Fire crews have gained ground on
at least six of them.
