of two women seriously hurt in an
accident on Interstate 77 in Wythe
County this morning.

Troopers say the women are from
Marrietta Georgia.

They say one of them lost control
and flipped her vehicle several times
in the median before running into a
tractor trailer in the northbound
lanes.

Troopers say the truck driver
tried to avoid the crash, taking out

several feet of guardrail.

The truck driver was not injured,
but the two women were airlifted to
hospitals with what police are calling
life-threatening injuries.

re-captured four murder suspects who
escaped from a courthouse in Pontiac
earlier today.

The final prisoner was caught about
three hours later.

Authorities say one of the men
overpowered a security guard who was
