shooting and killing another man.

28-year-old Carlos Santana Morris
is charged with second degree murder

down the plane.

The Boeing 737 slammed into a

found Mike and Mary Short murdered in
their home in Henry County- their young
daughter's remains were found a month
later in North Carolina. No one
has been arrested but family, friends

Roanoke officials say the newly
renovated Victory Stadium will be ready
for high school football by August
26th, despite some unfinished areas.

There's still no final word on the fate
of the Roanoke landmark.

Earlier this year, the Victory Stadium
Committee recommeded that it should be
torn down and a new facility should be

built in its place.

But, members of city council said
they would like to see new estimates
that will compare the cost of
renovation against new construction

before they make a final decision.

morning -- after threatening to blow up
his own house on Colonial Avenue.

A neighbors house had to be
evacuated, but no one was injured.

ENG#2 Jerry Falwell is changing the

name of Lynchburg Christian Academy.
Now that the school is joining part of
Liberty University in the old Ericcson
building, it will be called -- Liberty
Christian Academy.

police in Henry County found Micheal
and Mary Short murdered in their home.
Their daughter's body was found a month
later.

Yesterday, the annual
scholarship ride in the families name
made its way from the Short home, to
where Jennifer's remains were found in

It's the third year the ride has
raised money for Bassett High School
students headed to college.
