its Accessory Sewing facility in
Danville, a decision that will
eliminate approximately 175 jobs.

The company says it will begin
releasing those employees in
mid-October, and will assist them in
finding other jobs and applying for
unemployment compensation.

President and CEO Barry Shea
blames trade policies for the decision.
In a news release he said the closing
was unfortunate, but necessary "to
remain a viable company in a very
competitive market."

The two are charged with first

home near Evington in May of 2004.

Police charged 42-year-old Richard
Roy Preas (preece) and 34-year-old
Virginia Blankenship with Walker's

Prosecutors say the pair had been
smoking crack cocaine that weekend and
robbed Walker for more drug money.

They could have faced the death
penalty had the case gone to trial, but
Walker's family asked the commonwealth
to reach a plea agreement that would
give both defendants two life terms.

signed a huge new contract with the
University.

salary of 240 thousand dollars and one

things like radio and TV appearances

The 61 year old Groh graduated

He is beginning his 5th season as
the head coach at his alma mater and
his record with the Cavs is 30 and 21.

The raise over the first deal
Groh signed five years ago - is nearly
one million dollars a season.
