not. The closing of Fort Monroe would

identified the victim of a motorcycle
accident. They say 17 year- old
Brandon Keith Hilton of Pembroke was
the young man killed in the accident.

Stoney Creek Road late Tuesday
afternoon, when a passerby discovered
the wreck.

woman left her van running for just a
moment, but it was enough time for a
thief to jump in and take off.

Police found the van several blocks
away on Winborne Street, where it had
run onto a side lawn. Police sirens

toll on some service stations...
especially those with older pumps.

in the mountains of Western Carolina
aren't able to list the higher prices.
These pumps were installed when Jimmy
Carter was President. They're capable
of showing prices up to 2.99 a gallon.

$2.59 and $2.70.
The manager says high prices may just
force him to get rid of one of his four
employees.

first Division Three football poll of
the season was released earlier this
week, and the Bridgewater College
Eagles, who have won 29 straight
regular season ODAC games, were picked
12th in the nation.
