modernization is being discussed.

The facility dates to the 19- 50s
and needs upgrades to electrical and
other parts of the infrastructure in

the country to produce certain kinds of
propellant that are supplied to the
military for rockets and bombs.

identified the victim of a motorcycle
crash.

They say 17 year- old Brandon
Keith Hilton of Pembroke was the young
man killed in the accident.

Stoney Creek Road late Tuesday
afternoon, when a passerby discovered
the wreck.

Investigators are still trying

dead after a shark attack near a
popular beach in Australia.

diving from a boat about a mile
offshore, when the shark attacked them.

Those on the dive boat scrambled to
haul both divers out of the water after
spotting the shark, but was only able

overnight, but this time, it's in a
different direction.

According to "Virginia Gas
Prices-dot-com", many stations in the
region have lowered their prices to
2-29 a gallon.

That's a drop of about 10 cents in
one day.

reflect that overnight drop, but
they're still down.

They put the Roanoke region average at
2- 45 a gallon, 2 cents less than

yesterday.

But no matter how you look at it, we're

A-C-C title game got some good news.

Florida State will be able to use
their nickname, the Seminoles in
post-season tournaments.

F-S-U officials had threatened to
sue the NC- Double-A over its new
policy of that restricts Native
American nicknames.

The N-C- A-A backed off, saying
that allowing Florida State to use the
Seminoles actually recognizes the
relationship the school has enjoyed

with the Seminole Tribe of Florida.

For Florida State and its massive
fan base, it's just the latest in an
off-season riddled with distractions
and controversy.

This team is separate from D-E-I,
which Junior drivers for in the Cup
series, and Chance 2 Motorsports that
owns the car Martin Truex Junior
currently drivers in the Busch series.

Chance 2 is a partnership between
Dale Junior and his step mother Teresa.
