A town in Missouri has
implemented a new mode of

transportation for students.

Parents and kids get together and
walk to school.

The special school bus runs about
seven tenths of a mile to the school's
front door.

A local police department helped
raise money for reflective vests and
pedometers for all of the kids.

Besides keeping kids safe, the
program also encourages exercise and
cuts down on vehicle traffic around the
school. (END VO) (END VO)
