Avalanche vs Blue Rocks Salem hosting Wilmington this
evening, those arriving did some house
cleaning before getting comfortable.

Blue Rocks would get on the board
in the first, Ian Bladergroen hits one
to center. The runner scores from
third easily, Wilmington up 1 to
nothing.

Same inning Claudio Arias at the
plate looking to add to the Blue Rock
lead. He drivers one to center as
well, looks like a sure hit until Mike
Floyd from out of no-where makes the
catch to prevent further damage.

Mike Floyd did with the glove and
now with the bat. He would hit one to
center where no one would catch it.
That would score 2 runs to put the home *CG final Wilmington team back on top and that was it, this 1 game suspended due to the rain and they Salem will pick this one up where they left 2 off on Thursday night.
Game suspended in the 3rd inning

So the last thing they need is
distractions, but it's hard to ignore
the devestation down the Gulf Coast a
place that the Hokie Nation has visited
quite frequently in the Beamer years.
Mike Stevens has more from Blacksburg.
