Giles County law enforcement is not
slowing down. Gas drive offs are up 100
percent this month. Along with chasing
people who don't pay, officers have now

case the shortage gets worse.

Labor Day weekend. The marquee matchup
takes place Monday Night in Tallahasse
as Miami and Florida State renew their
rivalry between the two winningest
programs of the last 20 years.
Both teams will break in new
starting quarterbacks as the Canes and
Noles open the season against one
another for the 10th time, a concept
that neither coach is exactly sold on.

Sunday. The last time the Pack started
against a top 10 team, the year was
1966, and the defense featured a feisty

secondary from a season ago. It's too
bad Rodney Redd can't suit up Sunday.
