A legal official says an Iraqi court
has decided to begin Saddam's first
trial on October 19th.

The former dictator could get the
death penalty if convicted of the 19-
82 massacre of Shiites.

In other developments from Iraq,
discussions are under way to fine-tune
the Iraqi draft constitution, in hopes
of winning over Sunni Arabs.

dropped to a four year low.


In August the number fell to four-
point- nine percent.

However, the figure doesn't take into
account the damage caused by Hurricane
Katrina.

By one estimate, a million jobs
have been lost in Louisiana,
Mississippi and Alabama.

Some economists say those areas
face a 20 percent unemployment rate in
the coming months-- and some jobs may
be gone forever.

bad Rodney Redd can't suit up Sunday.

The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is
proudly introducing the newest addition
to its masai (mass-eye) giraffe herd.

A male masai giraffe is the world's

tallest animal.

Little Mac-- as he's known-- is
expected to grow over 16 feet tall.

The zoo has one of the largest masai
giraffe herds in North America.
