The list serves as answers to

School board members aren't

Broncos vs. Cavaliers Marques Hagans got the Hoos :00 started by rolling out to his right,
buying some time and then finding tight

end Tom Santi in the endzone, as
Virginia did most of its damage in the
game's first 17 minutes.

Later Hagans rolls out again and
this time keeps it on his way into the
endzone.

Wali Lundy left the game with a
sprained foot, but Cedric Peerman from
William Campbell picked up the slack
with several nice gains including this
one. Peerman also scored his first
collegiate TD. *CG final Western Michigan

Virginia #25 of which was returned for a score. UVA

31 had just enough to get it done 31 to

Wildcats vs. Keydets Cal McCombs had his quarterback :00 Johnthan Wilson back. The Rockbridge
County product was hurt in the season
opener a year ago.

The corps was fired up and for
good reason early on.

Senior Sean Mizzer would get the
year started right, bowling in from 4
yards out for the season's first
touchdown. The extra point was no
good, and V-M-I was up 6 to nothing.

The Keydet defense was stout all
afternoon. Kamau Hull would pick off
Davidson Q-B Ryan Alexander, turning in

a nice return to set up good field
position for the offense.

Wilson would take advantage as he
rolls out to his left, decides to keep
it, and that was a good call as he gets
into the endzone and puts the lead at
23 to zip going into the half.

*CG final Davidson More of the same in the second half, 0 Wilson would find the fullback Mike VMI Maleski out of the backfield for 33 another score and V-M-I snaps its
losing streak with a 33 to nothing
shutout of Davidson.

never close.

Early on, Jermaine Pitts drops
back and goes up top for Chris Silk who
hauls in the 30 yard scoring strike and

Later, Pitts was up to his old
tricks firing a dart to Carlos Rubio
