A representative for 33- year- old

Armstrong confirmed he's engaged to his
girlfriend, 43- year- old singer Sheryl
Crow.

Armstrong met Crow at a charity
benefit in 2003.

The cyclist has made headlines for
recovering from testicular cancer-- and
recently denied accusations that he'd
tested positive for using steroids in
19-99.

No word yet on when the celebrity
pair might tight the knot.
