Pulaski Co. vs. William Fleming The stadium was open for business :00 last night, but the Colonels were in no
mood for a setback.

We pick it up in the third
quarter with Fleming in control and on
the move. Swayne Priest sweeps to his
left and the talented one will race
down the sideline for 38 yards moving
the ball into Pulaski Territory.

On the same drive, Priest will
again sweep to his left and this time
Dwayne will motor all the way to end
zone for the six and the Colonels are
comfortably in control 24-to-nothing in

the third.

Now in the fourth, Fleming is
still rolling. Josh Lawton sweeps left
and he will pick up five big yards all
the way down to the Pulaski five yard
line.

On the very next play - Lawton
goes right and right into the endzone
for the TD. It's 31-to-nothing Fleming
in serious control.
*CG 859 FINAL

Pulaski would try to avoid the
shutout but Jared Cole fumbles the
ball, the Colonels recover and they put
the wood on Pulaski tonight pitching a
31-to-nothing shutout.

Two plays later, Cavalier

Early in the second quarter, the

(END SOT) Allen Molina's favorite subject

is history - and during Pulaski game
week the PH junior got to not only
learn about this rivalry's past, but
also write its newest chapter.

BOB GRAY

ALLEN MOLINA

The five foot eight inch, 165
pound junior shredded the Pulaski
County defense on the ground for 180
yards and three touchdowns.

This 17 yard game winner featured
one of the nastiest stop and go spin
moves you'll ever witness.

Molina says he credits his Mom
and Dad for keeping him grounded, and
he's thankful to be part of what many
hope is the start of a resurgence of
football success on Grandin Avenue.

And before we say so long tonight
we'd like to take care of two more
sports items.

First -I'm sure many of you have
seen the movie "Radio" once if not
several times.

Tomorrow night and again on
Sunday morning during worship services
at Fellowship Community Church in Salem
- the real Radar - on whom the movie
was based - and his coach

will be at the church.

And finally, we end by sending
out our sympathy to the family of Bill
Bryant - who passed away earlier this
week, and was buried this morning.

Bill Bryant was one of Friday
Football Extra's biggest fans. He
coached many of its players from the
Salem area during their sandlot days.
He took great pride in following the
kids as they turned into young men and
then successful adults.

Bill Bryant was 58 years old. We
appreciate his kind words over the
years, and we wish his family the best
is dealing with his loss.

Take care everybody.

Friday Football Extra's 22nd
season continues next Friday night.
