OQ=...I'M MIKE STEVENS << One year ago the Hokies began
(END SOT) their unlikely ACC Odyssey at home
against the Duke Blue Devils.
Since that historic win Tech has
captured an ACC title and the Hokies
are yet to lose on the road in the
conference,
The Hokies are favored by 20 for
Saturday's game in Durham - but one
Hokie in particular knows that if
nothing else - the game will be
physical and the Tech players will get
an earful from the always creative
Dukes fans.
JEFF KING
To make matters worse for Duke -
the Blue Devils are coming off a
24-to-21 season opening loss at East
Carolina.
TED ROOF
Florida State has had to do its
share of learning over the past few
years. The win over Miami on Labor Day
night not only ended a six game losing
streak to the Canes, but it kept FSU in
the National title hunt - the only race
that matters in Tallahassee.
LEON WASHINGTON
KAMERION WIMBLEY
FSU hosts the Citadel Saturday.
Four of the Noles first five games this
season are at home where Bobby Bowden
has 188 wins and just 21 losses.
With this week's ACC Connection -
I'm Mike Stevens.
