GRAPHIC=Tech Virginia Tech is the only A-C-C team

that had to open up the season with 2
conference road games in consecutive
weeks. The Hokies had to travel back
to Tobacco road for the second time in
less than a week.

ENG#=2 VO-NAT

VO-NAT As they took on Duke and this one

was a bit easier than the weekend
before against N.C. State.

Early on, Marcus Vick goes up top
for Jeff King who hauls in the 7 yard
pass in the endzone and it was
7-nothing Hokies in the first quarter.

The Tech 'd' was stingy, recording
5 sacks in this one, including this
effort from defensive end Darryl Tapp.

The last of Vick's three TD passes
came on this 35 yarder down the middle
to David Clowney in the third quarter
and the rout was on.

George Bell and Branden Ore each
got the first rushing TD's of their
careers today as *CG final Virginia Tech the Hokies pick up the win 45 to 45 nothing. Travis Wells was in Durham Duke and has more on Tech's impressive 0 victory.
