Fox Sports Patrick Ramsey had his bell rung :00 in this one early on, and gave way to
backup Mark Brunell.

Bears linebacker Lance Briggs applied
the hit as Ramsey suffered a sprained
neck.

UVA product Thomas Jones scored
the game's only TD for the Bears,
giving Chicago a 7-6 lead.

But John Hall's three field goals *CG final Chicago and Cornelius Griffin's recovery of a 7 Kyle Orton fumble late in the game were Washington just enough, as the Skins took out the 9 Bears 9 to 7.

Organizers say Roanoke's first ever
Stroll-A-Thon at Garst Mill Park raised
more than 31-thousand dollars.

The event was developed to fund
research that might one day cure
children afflicted with Rett Syndrome.

The rare neurological disorder
affects nearly 15-thousand kids in the
U-S, most of whom are young girls.

The disorder robs children of

their communication and motor skills.
