what caused a Bedford County home to
burn to the ground over the weekend.

Firefighters were called to this
home on Peakland Court around nine p-m
Friday ... but the house was already

engulfed in flames.

Authorities believe the fire
started in the basement, but they say
the rubble is still too hot for them to
start looking for a cause.

No one was home when the fire
broke out.
