Yesterday Nascar handed out their penalties
and no one will miss a race right now

of money. Robby Gordon was fined 35
thousand dollars and 50 championship

Waltrip who got hit with a 10-grand
fine and 25 points taken away. Kasey
Kahne was the only other driver who got

3 were cited with actions detrimental

ABC/ESPN The Saints came out to a nice

Giants had a ruder welcome.
They were up 7 to nothing when Eli
Manning hits Cave Spring Grad Tiki

Saints would respond, Aaron
Brooks to Joe Horn who would make the
nice catch between 2 defenders for the

When hurricane Katrina hit the
Gulf Coast the first person Frank
Beamer thought of was his former

FRANK BEAMER
Vinnie Burns and his family are
all from the New Orleans area and
reside just outside of the city in
Slidell, Louisiana. Their house is
just 20 minutes from the Superdome, and
to date neither Vinnie nor any other
family members have been allowed to
return back to their home to access the
damage.
BITE OF VINNIE
He is hoping things will be
better than the images he has seen on
TV.
Like thousands of others - his
first evacuation stop was Houston,
Texas.
BITE OF VINNIE
Perhaps nothing has bit home
harder with Burns than the images of
the Super Dome and the possibility that
it may have to be torn down.
He started his first high school
game in that building and played his
final college game in the dome, as
well.
BITE OF VINNIE Vinnie's dad is a
Sugar Bowl commitee member and it
appears the most likely destination for
that bowl game is Baton Rouge at LSU.

Last Saturday In this past weekend's game a
couple of Cavaliers starred and were
rewarded for it. Kai Parham recorded
8 tackles including 3 behind the line
of scrimmage. Kai also got after the
quarterback recording a career high 3
sacks in the game. For that
performance he was named the A-C-C's
Defensive Lineman of the week.
His teammate Connor Hughes was
clutch as well for the Wahoo's. The
Senior Kicker drilled the game winner
with no time left on the clock.
Hughes was perfect on his 3 extra
points and added a 26 yard field goal
in the game as well. Those number got
Hughes the Special teams player of the
Week in the A-C-C. It is the fourth
time that Hughes has taken home that
honor.
