apparent murder of a woman whose body
was found inside a Petersburg motel
room.

Authorities say 54- year- old Tyrone
Bishop had occupied the room for most
of the month, but had left two weeks
ago because of scheduled renovations.
They say a maintenance crews found
the woman's decomposed body yesterday.
It was wrapped up in a blanket
underneath the bed, and had been there
for months.
Authorities are not yet identifying
the woman.
Bishop, meanwhile, is charged with
involuntary manslaughter and improper
disposal of a body.

freshman Taylor Behl.
Now, Ben Fawley is a person of
interest in her disappearance.

computers along with several boxes of
CD's and some hard drives.

that Fawley possessed child

His attorney says he met Behl
through a mutual friend back in
February.
He also says Fawley is working

assaulted a 12-year-old girl.
30- year- old Wilberto Hernandez
is charged with rape.
Investigators say the incident
happened at an extended stay motel on
Thirlane Road Monday night.
Police say Hernandez is from El
Salvador and had been working illegally
in the U.S.

caused a wreck that killed a man last
winter, will spend 13 years in prison.

February 24 39-year-old Tammy Boaze BOHZ of
Hurt was drunk and driving recklessly
when she clipped another car on Route
501 near Naruna February 24th.
The impact sent the vehicle
head-long into a car driven by Darryl
Younger ... Younger was killed
instantly.
Boaze pled guilty to aggravated
involuntary manslaughter in June.
She was given a total of 32 years
in prison yesterday, with all but
thirteen years suspended.

disappearance of a Danville woman.

Tayloer vanished from her Danville home
last Monday, leaving her keys, purse
and others personal items inside.
Neighbors say Taylor was a
friendly woman, who rarely left her
yard, other than to go to church or
walk to the nearby store.

They're now investigating whether
there's any foul play.

get closer to solving this mystery.

problems to iron out with the Amber
Alert system.

Last week, V-DOT posted an Amber
Alert on message signs throughout the
Commonwealth.
The messages directed motorists
to dial 5-1-1.
When they called the number, some
found they were UNable to get any
information on the alert.
Laura Bullock of V-DOT says
that's because the alert was pulled
from the phone system at Noon, while
the message boards kept displaying it.

were evacuated due to a bomb threat.

Authorities said yesterday the
caller claimed a bomb would go off in
an unspecified courthouse between 9 and
11 a-m.
Police officers, sheriff's
deputies and U-S Marshals evacuated the
three city courthouses and the federal
court as a precaution while officers
searched all four buildings.
Nothing was found and everyone was
allowed to return around 10.
Police are working to track down
where the call came from.

Montgomery County murder case that
dates back eight years.

Yesterday Livingston Bud Pritchett is
accused of shooting 57 year old Estell
Singleton at the Ironto rest stop in
1997.

April 1997 convicted of first degree murder.

the state Supreme Court because jurors
were not told he was mentally retarded.
Pritchett entered a not guilty
plea yesterday.
