GRAPHIC=Rita Residents along the Texas Gulf

Coast are clearing out as Hurricane
Rita spins closer.

Forecasters expect the powerful
Category 5 storm to strike somewhere
between Galveston and Corpus Christi.

It could make landfall Saturday.

Government officials have sent in
hundreds of buses to evacuate those
without their own transportation.

The city of Galveston is now a
virtual ghost town, with few people
willing to take any chances after
seeing the deadly aftermath of
Hurricane Katrina.

you are a woman who has been "Invited"
to the "Women's Conference" in Roanoke
today the Better Business Bureau says
to be Wary.

The seminar is being offered through
the National Training Conference in
Provo, Utah. The BBB Serving Utah has
received complaints against the company
stating that the company is providing
false and misleading information, and
that it does not honor its money-back
guarantee on kits sold to conference
attendees.
Take Invitation graphic The bureau says even the invitation and
tickets are misleading: Invitations
from The Women's Conference President
Ellen Munson begin, "Because you were
referred to me, I wanted to personally
invite you as my VIP guest to attend
the nation's No. 1 women's conference."
It goes on to say, "The normal tuition
fee of $149 is waived for you."
Take Ticket Graphis Two "complimentary" tickets, presumably
worth $298 together, are enclosed.
Other information about the conference
states that attendance is free.

Before making any investment, the
Better Business Bureau and state
securities regulators urge investors to

ask the following questions:
Take- "Has the seller provided written Has the seller provided written information that fully explains the information that fully explains the investment?" investment? Make sure you get a
prospectus or offering circular, before
you buy.
Take- "Are claims made for the Are claims made for the investment investment realistic?" realistic? Use common sense and get a
professional, third-party opinion when
presented with investment opportunities
that offer unusually high returns in
comparison to other investment options.
Take- "Does the investment meet your Does the investment meet your personal personal investment goals?" investment goals? Whether you are
investing for long-term growth,
investment income or other reasons, an
investment should match your own
investment goals.

If you still plan to attend "The
