Cavaliers vs Blue Devils The Cavaliers were playing their

first Conference Game of the season--1
of only 2 schools not to have played an
A-C-C game to this point.

The Wahoo Defense was stellar
against the Blue Devils, harrasing them
all afternoon. Clint Sintim would get
the sack right here. UVA Held Duke to
21 yards in the first quarter.

The Cavs would go to the air for
their first Touchdown. Marques Hagans
10 yards to Deyon Williams. It was 10
to zip Wahoos going to Halftime.

There was plenty more defense in
the second half. The home team caused
4 turnovers on the afternoon. Marcus
Hamilton had 2 interceptions including
1 that he returned inside the 5 but a
penatly had the Cavs take over near
mid-field.

The offense really got cranked up
in the second as Hagans passes to Bath
County's John Phillips who refuses to
go down and fights his way into the
endzone for his first career touchdown
on his first career reception. UVA led
24 to nothing.

*CG final Duke William Campbell grad Cedric Peerman 7 capped the scoring on a 17 yard
Virginia touchdown run. Peerman has scored in 38 each game this season. UVA beats Duke UVA 3-0 on the season 38 to 7. Grant Kittelson has more from
Charlottesville.

Mountain Hawks vs. Keydets The Keydets used some trickeration :00 in this one early on. Jonathan Wilson
slings it out to Gary Price who then
airs it out downfield to Zohn Burden on
the big gainer. That led to a VMI
field goal and it was 3-nothing.

Later in the opening quarter, Nat
Jackson tries to fight for some extra

yardage, but he has the ball stripped
loose. Julius Austin picks it up and
is off to the races. He takes it to
the house for the score giving the
Mountain Hawks a 7-3 lead.

Jackson eventually found the
endzone later in the half. *CG final Lehigh But there wasn't nearly enough of that 28 as Lehigh won a tight one 28 to 26.

TNT The race was highlighted by this :00 14 car pileup on lap 2. It all started
when Paul Menard hit Matt Kenseth
coming off of turn 2. The melee

prompted a 20 minute delay for cleanup.

Newman dominated leading all but
7 laps in this one on his way to the
finish line ahead of Clint Bowyer and

The baby black rat snake has two
heads, and two of several other body
parts.

It's only about a week old and
workers are taking extra care when

feeding it because the heads may move
in different directions or even try to
attack each other since the brains are
independenly thinking.
