but concerns about the nation's energy
supply are holding steady.

refineries along the Gulf Coast but
President Bush is warning that supply
still outweighs demand.

He says the government is
prepared to tap into the Stretegic
Petroleum Reserve to keep gas prices
from going up any higher.

suspend certain anti-pollution laws
allowing the US to to buy from
countries whos product normally
wouldn't meet air quality standards.

Meantime, he's asking drivers to
conserve, carpool and use mass transit
while he works with Congress to boost
refining capacity.

be experiencing extraodinarily powerful
storms.

The strongest typhoon to hit
southern China in more than

30 years slammed ashore early today,
sending people scattering for

shelter.

Typhoon Damrey is reported to
have made landfall with wind speeds of
up to 124 miles per hour.

More than 100-thousand people
were evacuated.

It is the island's strongest
typhoon since September 1973.

arraigned on seperate charges.

old involved in sexual acts.

lifestyle "creepy" and says she's

The 27-year old victim died later

fire in Carroll County this weekend -
up to 60 of them.

around 3:00 in a double-wide trailer on
Howlett Street.

The trailer had been converted to
a kennel by Junior Horton and his
family.

Investigators say the fire was an

After removing the front portico
and balconies- the structure would be

Preparing the house to move would
take two months.

Actually moving it would take two
weeks.

All that for a price tag of just

Sheehan- whose son died serving in
Iraq- and dozens of other protestors
sat down on the sidewalk after walking
the pedestrian walkway on Pennsylvania
Avenue.

Authorities say that Sheehan and the
others were warned three times that
they were violating the law by failing
to move along.

Sheehan's arrest follows a weekend
of anti-war demonstrations in the
streets of Washington.

County has been named the state's coach
of the year for Virginia swimming - the
state division of US Swimming . St.

Pierre led the Marlins team, which is
just the 17th largest squad in

finish earlier this summer, beating out

region and Richmond areas.

St. Pierre's team is composed of
