this morning when she lost control of
her car.

State Police say 46- year- old
Deborah Jean West, of Thaxton,
TAKE FS MAP TAKE FS GFXwas travelling south on
Jordantown Road, a half mile north of
Route 24.

Her car ran off the right side of
the road, and then came back into the
northbound lane. Her vehicle clipped
the back of a truck, spun around, and
was hit by a pickup.

The drivers of the other vehicles
were not seriously injured.

on a hit and run driver who killed a
person this weekend on Interstate 77
near Fancy Gap.

Largen's car broke down around 5 in the
morning.

The North Carolina man was
walking for help when he was struck and
killed.

Howlett Street.

The trailer had been converted to
a kennel by Junior Horton and his
family.

Investigators say the fire was an
accident, but they haven't figured out

30- files on computers confiscated from
Fawley's apartment depicting children
as young as one- year- old involved in
sexual acts with adults.

attorney says those computers are still
being searched and more charges
including production and distribution
could follow.

The court also learned of
Fawley's criminal record that includes
three assault convictions within the
past three years.

Police have searched his home for
clues to Behl's whereabouts, but have

More than 20 new city and county
police officers graduated today from
Roanoke's 55th Police Academy.

Among them was the son of Roanoke
city police seargent Manuel Bocanegra
Manual Bo-cuh-NAY-gruh.

Bocanegra is the former school
resource officer reassigned within the
department last year, after raising
questions about the under-reporting of
school violence.

The two men say the incident is
behind them.
