it was a full month ago that the Gulf
Coast prepared for Katrina.

More than one thousand people are

Along the Mississippi coast,
entire communities were virtually wiped
out by the winds and wall of water that
slammed ashore.

Once the levees broke, tens of
thousands became homeless in the days
that followed.

Their futures, and the city's

called in help from surrounding
departments to help them solve the
murder of a woman inside her home.

meter reader found the body of 33 year
old Dorothy "Dee-Dee" Harris in her
living room around 12-30 this
afternoon.

They say Harris lived with her
husband and children along Route 26
near Bent Creek.

No word on what caused her death.

An autopsy is scheduled for
tomorrow morning in Roanoke.

and murder three months ago.

Jennifer Marie Popa.

She was found dead June 28th inside
her burning home on Franklin Turnpike.

Police are still looking for a
