Services handles price-gouging
complaints, but there hasn't been a
flood of them.

occurs if a station's price is much
higher than it was before a disaster
like Katrina.

But keep in mind a station is
permitted to pass along any higher
costs it has to pay its suppliers.

133 Virginians complained during
the four-week period from August 31 to
this past Tuesday.

Of those, two have been referred
for possible criminal or civil action.

murder trial of a Radford photographer.

The judge postponed the trial of
Bob Shell today, after the defense
claimed evidence had been tampered
with.

Shell is charged with murder and
several sex crimes in the overdose
death of his girlfriend and model
Marion Franklin.

His attorney, Gil Davis, says

three computer hard drives seized from
Shell are missing e-mails and images.

Davis says the computers were
altered once they were in police
custody.

A new trial won't be scheduled
until December.

heavily damaged a home near Concord.

spotted the blaze while he was working
