E.C. Glass vs. Pulaski Co. Here's a familiar face - Skipper :00 Duke - holds tight to the Cougar flag
as he has for the past 18 years.

On the Hilltoppers opening drive
- Justin Devaul decides to air it out,
but the pass is picked off by John
McDaniel and be sure you remember that
name!

After a steady dose of Kevin
Crouse on the Cougars' first possession
he will take it in and cap the lengthy
drive to put the Cougars on top
7-to-nothing late in the first quarter.

Then with three and a half
minutes left in the half - Glass will

inch its way down the field, but end us
settling for this 30 yard field goal to
make it a 7-to-3 game.

Glass would have one more chance
to score in the first half - but
McDaniel will come up with his second
pick of the night to end the
Hilltoppers threat.

At halftime the crowd would cheer
as the homecoming court made its way
onto the field. A smiling Ian Owens
and Hope Reedy were crowned king and
queen.
*CG 851 FINAL

The cheers would continue in the
second half - as the Hilltoppers find
out that the third time is not the
charm. Johnny "on the spot" McDaniel
comes away with his third interception

known as a running team. This season
nothing is different as the Cougar
backfield is again very talented and
deep.

of the BACKS is Kevin Crouse. The

last Friday Night in a much needed

OQ=Friday Football Extra. < (END SOT) Dobson Stadium last Friday it had been

almost a year to the Day that the
Cougars had won a game on their home
field. With that knowledge Kevin
Crouse carried the ball 33 times in
leading Pulaski to a 35 to 14 win over
Jefferson Forest.

(CROUSE BITE:25050)

The Cougars lost their first 2 games
this season. But Crouse didn't play at
all in the first Loss and played
sparingly in the second due to an
injuried ankle

(CROUSE:

Crouse has also changed his running
style from a season ago, which also
might help his health in the long run.

(TURNER BITE:2:59:30)

With the injury behind him Crouse as a
junior has to start thinking about
playing football at the next level.
