An early morning fire has left the
members of a Virginia Tech fraternity
homeless....

The blaze broke out around 1:45 this
morning at Zeta Psi SIGH on Roanoke
Street.

It apparently started on a couch on the
front porch.

Although firefiefighters were quick to
arrive on the scene, the blaze did
significant damage.

One person is dead and another
seriously injured after a single-car
accident in Bedford County.

State police say this pickup truck
was headed south on Blackwater Road in
New London just after 7 o-clock last
night, when the driver apparently lost
control.

The truck veered off the road and
flipped over ... both the driver and a
passenger were thrown from the pickup.

One of them was pronounced dead at
the scene ... the other was flown to
Lynchburg General Hospital.

No names or other details have
been released.

Police believe alcohol was a
factor in the crash.

multi-vehicle accident in Louisa County
including a ten year old boy from
Roanoke.

Eleven others were injured.

The accident happened around nine
o-clock Saturday night on Route 15,
just south of Route 33.

Police say a car was trying to
pass a truck when it sideswiped an
oncoming minivan.

Both vehicles slid sideways into
opposite lanes, with the car hitting a
station wagon and the minivan striking
a truck.

The driver of the car was from
New York.

She died at the scene.

A Roanoke woman driving the
minivan and four of her passengers were
taken to the University of Virginia
Medical Center.

Two other passengers, an adult
female who has not been identified and

ten-year-old John Thomas Mosier of
Roanoke, died at the scene.

State Police are
investigating.

gruesome discovery inside a house.


They found a badly decomposed
body in a basement on Laconia Drive
yesterday.

the owner discovered a dead body in the
basement of his rental property.

Police immediately began
interviewing neighbors, who said there

not confirm or deny that suspicion.

These 6th graders though have a
personal connection.

Their principal Catherine
Lassiter, was the former head of
Southside Elementary School in
Picayune, Mississippi.

And Lassiter along with her
middle schoolers was overwhelmed with
the need to help the Picayune school.

Fire officials in Blacksburg are
calling an early morning fraternity
house fire suspicious....

The blaze broke out around 1:45 this
morning at Zeta Psi SIGH on Roanoke
Street.

It apparently started on a couch on the
front porch.

Although firefiefighters were quick to
arrive on the scene, the blaze did
significant damage.

A single vehicle accident in Bedford
County killed one person and seriously
injured another.

State police say this pickup truck
was headed south on Blackwater Road in
New London just after 7 o-clock last
night when the driver apparently lost
control.

The truck veered off the road and
flipped over ... both the driver and a
passenger were thrown from the pickup.

One of them was pronounced dead at

the scene ... the other was flown to
Lynchburg General Hospital.

No names or other details have
been released.

Police believe alcohol was a
factor in the crash.

multi-vehicle accident in Louisa County
including a ten year old boy from
Roanoke. Eleven others were injured.

The accident happened around nine
o-clock Saturday night on Route 15 just
south of Route 33.

Police say a car was trying to
pass a truck when it sideswiped an
oncoming minivan.

Both vehicles slid sideways into
opposite lanes, with the car hitting a
station wagon and the minivan striking
a truck.

The driver of the car was from
New York. She died at the scene.

A Roanoke woman driving the
minivan and four of her passengers were

taken to the University of Virginia
Medical Center. Two

other passengers, an adult female who
has not been identified and

ten-year-old John Thomas Mosier of
Roanoke, died at the scene.

State Police are
investigating.

gruesome discovery inside a house.

They found a badly decomposed
body in a basement on Laconia Drive
yesterday.

Police aren't releasing much at

capsized on a lake in upstate New York.

members of a Virginia Tech fraternity
homeless....

The blaze broke out around 1:45 this
morning at Zeta Psi SIGH on Roanoke
Street.

It apparently started on a couch on the
front porch.


Although firefiefighters were quick to
arrive on the scene, the blaze did
significant damage.

seriously injured after a single-car
accident in Bedford County.

State police say this pickup truck
was headed south on Blackwater Road in
New London just after 7 o-clock last
night when the driver apparently lost
control.

The truck veered off the road and
flipped over ... both the driver and a
passenger were thrown from the pickup.

One of them was pronounced dead at
the scene ... the other was flown to
Lynchburg General Hospital.

No names or other details have
been released.

Police believe alcohol was a
factor in the crash.

multi-vehicle accident in Louisa County
including a ten year old boy from

Roanoke. Eleven others were injured.

The accident happened around nine
o-clock Saturday night on Route 15 just
south of Route 33.

Police say a car was trying to
pass a truck when it sideswiped an
oncoming minivan.

Both vehicles slid sideways into
opposite lanes, with the car hitting a
station wagon and the minivan striking
a truck.

The driver of the car was from
New York. She died at the scene.

A Roanoke woman driving the
minivan and four of her passengers were
taken to the University of Virginia
Medical Center. Two

other passengers, an adult female who
has not been identified and

ten-year-old John Thomas Mosier of
Roanoke, died at the scene.

State Police are
investigating.

They found a badly decomposed
body in a basement on Laconia Drive
yesterday.

So far, librarians say the
machines have made a big hit with
