One new law requires dancers in
strip clubs to stay four feet away from
patrons - which means no lap dances and
no tucking bills into clothing.
Tips have to go in jars because
dancers are no longer allowed to take
money directly from customers.
The issue divided city council -
the final vote was five to four.
Those in the adult entertainment
business say the laws are a thinly
veiled attempt to strip Seattle of its
strip clubs.
