body while responding to a car parked
in the middle of the road yesterday.
When officers got to Edgewood
Drive in Basset - they found Miriam
Oneda Manns in a creek about 200 yards
from her car.
Police say she had been assaulted
and had cuts on her body.

Police arrested 37-year-old
Kenneth Jerome Hagwood.
He's charged with second degree
murder.
Hagwood is held at the Henry

gathered together yesterday to remember
good times and bad.

Hundreds of veterans from the
29th Infantry Division spent the last
three days catching up on old times.
After a brief ceremony at the
D-Day Memorial yesterday, the veterans
went to the Bedford Armory for lunch.
The retired servicemen and women
say the three day reunion was a valued
opportunity for them to get together,
share old memories, and make new ones.

field on Johnny Angells farm recently
turned into a new adventure.

fresh water shrimp will be the answer.
After months of keeping a careful
watch on these ponds, last weekend

hands on the first of Angell's crop. .
Last weekend, Angell says he sold
out of his 500 pounds of shrimp just as

body while responding to an abandoned
car in the middle of the road
yesterday.
When officers got to Edgewood
Drive in Basset - they found Miriam
Oneda Manns in a creek about 200 yards
from the car.
Police say she had been assaulted
and had cuts on her body.

Last weekend, Angell says he sold

three days catching up on old times.

D-Day Memorial yesterday afternoon, the

driver hit and killed a woman from New
Orleans last night.
It happened shortly after
midnight while 26 year old Selena
Angelina Stewart was walking on the
side of the road.
Police charged William C. Harris
with D-U-I.
