They're chasing a fugitive in the
Denhill Road area off route 460.
Officers are looking for a man
involved in a high speed chase.
He's described as a black man,
five-foot-six to five-foot-eight, in
his early twenties weighing around 150
pounds.
This incident began as a drug
investigation, evolved into a high
speed chase and now the fugitive is on
foot.

Despite an opinion from the state
Supreme Court three weeks ago
indicating that Stephanie Murray-Shortt
was the properly appointed substitute
for the elected prosecutor, nothing has

possession of a firearm while a
convicted felon.
Under state law- police can't
discuss the details of that felony.
The 38- year- old is currently in

child pornography.
Police filed the latest charges
while investigating the death of Taylor
Behl.
Her body was discovered in a
shallow grave in Mathews County last
week.
Investigators say Fawley was in
possession of a firearm before she

Charlottesville where the news keep
getting worse for the Virginia football
team.
The Cavs have lost two straight
games and now they have lost one of
their top offensive lineman for this
Saturday night's game against fourth
ranked Florida State.
Brad Butler has been suspended
for the game for his very
unsportsmanlike, controversial play
against Boston College.

Mathias Kiwanuka - the ACC's preseason
defensive player of the year pick - has

295 pound senior out of Lynchburg's
E.C. Glass high school.
He has started the last 31 games
for the Cavs.
Butler, his coach Al Groh and UVa
athletic director Craig Littlepage
issued a joint statement tonight saying
in effect that while Butler crossed the
line he did not mean to hurt anyone.

October 22nd in Chapel Hill. The start
time has been set for the Cavaliers
game with North Carolina. Kickoff is
at Noon with the game being televised

Last Saturday Also, Virginia Tech's Vince Hall

week. He had a huge play in the third
quarter that iced the win over
Marshall, when he recovered a fumble
and returned it 15 yards for a
touchdown to make the score 24-7 in
favor of the Hokies.
Hall also had 10 tackles,
including three solo stops, and two
quarterback hurries on Saturday.

Center Ice this morning for the first
ever practice in franchise History.

the price.

Over the past three weeks,
students at Addison Aerospace Middle
School put money in jugs representing
the teacher they would most like to see
bald.
The deal was, if the school
raised more than a thousand bucks, ALL
five teachers would shave their heads.
The students met the challenge,
and the teachers kept their promise.
The money will go to Hurricane
Katrina Relief through the Red Cross
and United Way.
