Roanoke Street in downtown
Christiansburg.

Police say they were trying to pull
over 32-year-old Leroy Robinson for
drugs, when Robinson took off.

Den Hill Road and into this park --
where he ditched his car and ran into

the woods.

A state police helicopter and k-9 units
were called-in to help search for
Robinson.

About three hours later, authorities
found him and his 3-month old child

peacefully and it appears the child was

Officers say a woman was also in the
car with Robinson, but somehow got out
during the chase either by force or own
her own.

She was airlifted to Roanoke Memorial
hospital for her injuries, but will NOT
face any charges.

apartment fire in Roanoke.

A fire broke out in an apartment
complex near the corner of Memorial
Avenue and Mountain View Terrace around
9:30.

Neighbors feared three people were
trapped inside, only one had to be
rescued by firefighters.

There were no injuries, but the
apartment suffered extensive damage.

The Red Cross is providing food
and shelter to those forced out.

The cause is under investigation.

shocked by the murder of a Smyth County
family.

Deputies say the three
members of the Evans family were found
shot to death inside their home near
Chilhowie Sunday night.

Authorities have arrested a
suspect, John Ray Gullion, but say
they're not yet sure of a motive.

a deadly drag racing accident.

The impact caused the van to roll

The 38- year- old is currently in

Behl.

Her body was discovered in a
shallow grave in Mathews County last
week.

Investigators say Fawley was in
possession of a firearm before she
disappeared.

Officials say they won't make an
arrest in Behl's case until they know
how she died.

apartment fire in Roanoke.

The blaze broke out in an apartment
complex near the corner of Memorial
Avenue and Mountain View Terrace around
9:30 last night.

Neighbors feared three people were
trapped inside, only one had to be
rescued by firefighters.

There were no injuries, but the
apartment suffered extensive damage.

The Red Cross is providing food
and shelter to those forced out.

The cause is under investigation.

Roanoke Street in downtown
Christiansburg.

Police say they were trying to pull
over 32-year-old Leroy Robinson for
drugs, when Robinson took off.

where he ditched his car and ran into
the woods.

A state police helicopter and k-9 units
were called-in to help search for
Robinson.

About three hours later, authorities
found him and his 3-month old child

a deadly drag racing accident.

Western Virginia will not build its new
facility.

Iraq.

Suddenly, the humvee they were in hit
a landmine.

The driver struggled to maintain

humvee looked like after the explosion.

Even more remarkable is that David
and his comrades suffered just minor
injuries.

Christiansburg.

Police say they were trying to pull
over 32-year-old Leroy Robinson for
drugs, when Robinson took off.

Den Hill Road and into this park --
where he ditched his car and ran into
the woods.

A state police helicopter and k-9 units
were called-in to help search for
Robinson.

About three hours later, authorities
found him and his 3-month old child

She was airlifted to Roanoke Memorial

humvee hit a landmine.

from the international space station.

Today Olsen and a two-man,
Russian-American crew made a fast
descent back to Earth in Kazakhstan.

The mission marks the third time a
private citizen has made a visit to the
space statoin.

wants a steak, some red wine, and a hot
shower.

suspect in the death of Taylor Behl.

Last Month Ben Fawley has been charged with
possession of a firearm while a
convicted felon.

Under state law- police can't
discuss the details of that felony.

The 38- year- old is currently in
jail awaiting trial for possession of
child pornography.

Police filed the latest charges
while investigating the death of Taylor
Behl.

Her body was discovered in a
shallow grave in Mathews County last
week.

Investigators say Fawley was in
possession of a firearm before she
disappeared.

Police say they won't make an
arrest in Behl's case until they know
how she died.

Despite an opinion from the state

Supreme Court three weeks ago
indicating that Stephanie Murray-Shortt
was the properly appointed substitute
for the elected prosecutor, nothing has
changed since then.

notice that he intends to ask the
Supreme Court for a re-hearing.

The court is apparently waiting
for that petition to be filed. In the

A Montgomery County man who led police
on a high speed car chase with his
infant child inside faces several
charges.

Police say they were trying to pull
over 32-year-old Leroy Robinson for
drugs in Christiansburg yesterday, when
Robinson took off. He later ditched his
car on Den Hill Road and ran into the
woods.

Police say Robinson surrendered
peacefully about three hours later. It
appears the child was NOT harmed.

The blaze broke out in an apartment

9:30 last night.
