VO-NAT State police say David Allen Dunn
of Princeton, West Virginia, slammed on
his dump truck's brakes to avoid
traffic that was stacking up behind a
car fire.
That's when he lost control, hit
the guardrail, overturned, and blocked
both northbound lanes near Milemarker

Another truck owned by Dunn also
lost control and hit the guardrail.
Both drivers were charged with

The bureau has opened a civil

of the 3 police officers and two

Yet to be heard is the police officer's

Three officers have plead "not guilty"
to battery charges and have been
suspended without pay. Their trial is
