heating with natural gas to jump 48
percent nationwide over last year, and
heating oil is expected to rise 32
percent.
Those estimates are slightly
lower than first reported and some
analysts believe the numbers are worst
case scenarios.

Katrina and Rita oil production along
the gulf coast is not expected to be
back to full capacity until March...

a principal inside a Christiansburg
school today.
The Montgomery County Sheriff's
Office arrested 39 year old Timothy Joe
Johnson and charged him with assault
and battery.
Witnesses told authorities that
Johnson pushed the principal of Belview
Elementary to the ground and was on top
of him at one point.
The principal did not go to the
hospital but had several cuts and
bruises.
Johnson was released on
25-hundred dollars bond.
Investigators say Johnson
apparently thought his daughter was
missing from school.

has cleared sheriff's deputies of any
wrongdoing during a deadly shootout
this past August.

to Albert Garrett's house.
They were investigating a
complaint of a stolen vehicle.
When they arrived to talk to
Garrett, he pulled out a gun and fired

people to crowd the streets of
Islamabad today.

The aftershock measured five
point six on the richter scale with an
epicenter about 84 miles north of the
Pakistan capital.
Residents fearing another deadly
quake took to the streets.
There were no immediate reports
of damage.
A break in the weather today did

areas affected by the quake.
Search and rescue teams are
continuing their efforts, however
officials say the chances of finding
anybody alive are dwindling.

could bring another shopping center to
the area.
