In a statement released to the
media he said: "I want this race to be
decided on the qualifications of the
candidates, not the politically
motivated release of misinformation
about an "administrative inquiry"
concerning used Army Surplus which in
fact was mostly unusable and long since
accounted for."

Alley is running against Incumbent
Sheriff Mark Armentrout.
Neither candidate would even talk about
the investigation during the debate,
but afterwards Armentrout issued a
rebuttal statement... revealing more
details about the investigation.
He says the sheriff's office was
contacted by the department of defense
three months after he took office.
Federal officials wanted an audit of
surplus military equipment. Armentrout
says he told officials what he had and
they were concerned it didn't match
their records. Armentrout says he
immediately turned the investigation
over to State Police...

a pharmacy on Langhorne Road in
Lynchburg, the city has finally given
its answer ... and the answer is "no".

complex currently sits at the
intersection of Langhorne and Murrell
(MUR-uhl) Roads.
After more than a year of

failed on a 3-to-3 tie, with council
member Ceasor Johnson abstaining.
Walgreens representative had
indicated this was their last, best
effort at striking a deal with the

other than liquids and time. If you
think your child is getting dehydrated
see a doctor.

He says the sheriff's office was

Federal officials wanted an audit of
surplus military equipment. Armentrout
says he told officials what he had and
they were concerned it didn't match
their records. Armentrout says he
immediately turned the investigation
over to State Police...

daughter are starting over, after fire
damaged their apartment and destroyed
most of their belongings Monday night.

The fire started in a bedroom,
and investigators say they have
narrowed the cause to two appliances
