coming back to life, thanks in part to
corporate America.


438-thousand people have lost
their jobs since Hurricanes Katrina and
Rita roared through the Gulf.

Some businesses, like Pepsi,
wanted to keep their employees so they
put up makeshift cities of RVs for
their workers to live in.

FEMA's come under fire for
failing to provide housing quickly
enough.

But the agency did work with
Pepsi to make the trailers available.

The government says it's happy to
work with companies that are willing to
provide essential services to families
in need.

University students are accused of
breaking into the school and stealing
equipment from classrooms.

Now they face more than just
punishment by the law.

principal.

39 year old Timothy Joe Johnson
is charged with assault and battery.

Investigators say he beat up the
Belview Elementary School Principal.

The incident stemmed from a
misunderstanding over whether Johnson's
daughter was missing from school.

Today, all doors except the front
door were permanently locked and a new
alert system was put in place for
teachers and staff.

Superintendent Tiffany Anderson
also sent home letters with the
students for their parents.

Johnson is banned from Montgomery
County school property.
