GRAPHIC=None Speeding and driver inattention

continue to be major problems on
Virginia Interstates.

ENG#=2 VO-NAT

VO-NAT The State Police Motor Squad may

be one of the most effective tools in
law enforcement.

Though the bikes are well marked
many motorists don't notice them them
until the trooper has already clocked
them exceeding the speed limit.

The local motor squad now
includes one woman, the only female
motor trooper in Virginia.

We'll hear from her on NEWS 7 at
Six.

*CG locator Miami

At least that's what customers in
a Miami pool hall thought when they
reported two men wearing disguises who
looked like they might be preparing to
rob an armored truck.

The disguises included a
jumpsuit, a bushy fake beard and a
dreadlocks wig.

The pool hall customers had also
called the bank clerk.

He was armed and ready.

But police moved in before the
robbery could take place
