a tractor trailer accident that has
slowed traffic in the Route 29 - Route
460 area.

Around 7:30 this morning, a truck
carrying a load of empty beer bottles
was turning onto Route 460 East from
Route 29 when it lost control and
flipped over the guardrail.

The driver told state police he was
travelling about 35 miles per hour when
his load shifted, causing the accident.

He's been charged with failing to
maintain control of his vehicle.

Crews have spent the morning

removing diesel fuel from the truck's
tanks and getting the vehicle back
upright.

Hal Craddock's dream of turning a
century-old warehouse into a hotel,
conference center and restaurant was
chugging along fine when city council
toured it just two years ago.

But construction costs have soared

recently ... enough that the primary
lender said it couldn't afford close to
a million dollars more in extra
spending.

Craddock has been scrambling to
close that gap ... city council agreed
Tuesday night to kick in upwards of
300-thousand dollars ...a loan for
another 200-thousand was approved this
morning.

is charged with assault and battery.

Investigators say he beat up the
Belview Elementary School Principal.

Johnson has been banned from
Montgomery County school property.

their heads over this one--

The driver of a white S-U-V somehow
left the road and ended up getting
suspended from a wire that was
anchoring a utility pole.

The person was able to make it out
of the vehicle without any major
injuries.

Eventually the S-U-V rolled back off
the wire.

Police are still still trying to
figure out what happened.

tentative agreement with the food
workers union on a new contract.

The deal affects workers in 47
stores in western Virginia, West
Virginia and Tennessee.

The company's not releasing terms
