Stephanie Bennett was found raped and
murdered in her Raleigh North Carolina
Apartment.

Police had very few leads, so much so
that in August of 2003 Stephanie's
father offered a 100-thousand dollar

reward for any information that led to
an arrest and conviction in the case.

point outside a Salem business this
afternoon.

Salem police say it happened
outside the Advance America Cash
Advance store at Lakeside Plaza.

Investigators say the woman had
just received a cash advance when she
was accosted.

Witnesses saw the mugger run
towards some woods and called police.

Officers caught him after a
foot chase.

The suspect has been identified
as 28-year-old Thomas Hairston of
Roanoke.

Police say charges are pending.

temporary end today before it really
got started.

allow time for the defense to shore up
its case.

Hussein did have time to plead
innocent to the charges of murder and
torture.

If convicted, Hussein could face
the death penalty for his alleged role
in the 1982 massacre of nearly 150
Shiites.

proceedings the former dictator was
described as defiant.

He even got reprimanded by the
judge for speaking out.

Hussein's trial will resume on

came up with the idea, and they've kept

Bridgewater came into the game

Northeastern by 21 points in the third
quarter.

But the coaches decided to put
him in and well, the rest is history.
Jake threw three touchdown passes in
the fourth quarter to get the game to
overtime. he them threw for another in
the OT and eventually ran for the game
winning score and before then used his
legs to pick a first down that kept the
whole comeback from falling apart.

256 yards and four touchdowns - he not
only earned praise but what he's wanted

A wet spring led to later planting
and a dry, hot summer kept pumpkins
from growing as big as they might have.

The average pumpkin this season is
about the size of a basketball and
weighs about 10 to 15 pounds.

Eric Layman at Layman Orchards in
Daleville says there are still plenty
of pumpkins to choose from- and the
orchard's corn maze and hayrides are
fun for the kids.

excavating a body believed to be that
of a World War II airman killed in a
plane crash more than 60-years ago.

Climbers found the body in a
glacier in Kings Canyon National Park
in the Sierra Nevada.

A park spokeswoman says the body
is pretty much intact and that the man
was wearing a World War Two-era
parachute from the U-S Army Air Corps.

Park officials think the man may
have been part of the crew flying a
training plane that crashed on November
18th, 1942.

The wreckage and four other
