According to the initial call,
43-year-old Jeff Pendleton had his arm

amputated near his elbow by an

rails.

Pendleton was flown to RMH by
Lifeguard 10.

There's no word on his condition
at this point.

The trial started with Saddam
arguing with the judge

charges against him.

They include pre-meditated murder
and torture.

The trial will reume on November

One female louse can lay 30 eggs in a

month's time. But what many people may
not realize is that lice like clean
hair because it's easier for them to
attach to.

They do not jump or fly, they need
direct contact to transfer locations.
They are not passed by pets because
they can only thrive on humans.

And you can't just wash them out.
Roanoke County school nurses recommend
parents use lice killers such as Nix
while regularly pulling the eggs out of
the hair.

If there is any good news for parents
-- lice are not easy to get.
