The price of self- serve regular
fuel plunged 25 cents in the past two
weeks, to an average of 2- 66 a gallon
nationwide.
Analysts say it's due in large
part to gulf coast refineries resuming
production after Hurricane Katrina.
However, the Lundberg Servey
says prices remain slightly higher than
pre- Katrina levels.
They expect the price of gas to
continue dropping in the weeks to come.

Crews with Virginia Electrical

carefully cutting away the soda sign

VES says they have been surprised
by the community response to the signs.
So much so that soon folks will
be able to keep track of the two signs
on their website.
The Dr. Pepper sign is expected
to be placed on top of the Legg Mason

December.
That means both renovated signs
