Roanoke Mayor Nelson Harris has

estimates that will let council members
compare the cost of renovating Victory

But even as council members wait
for that information there are
indications that a third option may
receive serious consideration.

GRAPHIC=ODAC From one group of B-C Eagles to

another. This one being the
Bridgewater College Eagles who can all
but completely lock up their fifth
straight championship in the Old

Dominion Athletic Conference this
Saturday when they travel to Washington
& Lee to take on the upstart Generals.

The biggest game of the season in
the ODAC takes place this Saturday
afternoon in Lexington at one o'clock.

The Eagles have won 32 straight
conference games, but W&L knows it will
have to overcome more than that
tradition to pull off the upset.

Woodford died suddenly of a heart
attack last month in Lynchburg.

He'd become well-known for his work
at the Milwaukee Iron bike shop which
has been featured on the Discovery
Channel's "Southern Steel" t-v show.

This weekend, Woodford's friends
are planning a tribute and fundraiser
in his memory.
