Sampson - was in federal court today in
Richmond where he pleaded guilty to two
felony charges of falling to pay child
support.

VO-NAT Under the plea agreement, the 45
year old former NBA great will not have
to go to prison as long he comes up
with some serious cash in the next four
months.
Sampson must come up with $307
thousand dollars by February first or
he could be looking at 30 months in
prison.
The cases involve two of
Sampson's daughters one is 17 and the
other 19.

After making an emergency landing
on a busy street outside Baton Rouge
Wednesday, a pilot crashed his plane
yesterday while trying to take off from
the same street.
Michael Simon and his wife made the
emergency landing after running out of
fuel on a trip from South Carolina to
Baton Rouge.
They were about three miles from the
Baton Rouge Metro Airport, when they
landed on the road in nearby Baker.
Neither the pilot nor his wife was
injured in either incident.

computer, a printer and a bit of photo
"magic" to make some pretty bizarre
portraits.
He takes antique photographs he
finds at rummage sales and animates
them.
When people view the work head on,
they see the original image. When
they look at if from another angle, the
image morphs into spooky
"haunted portraits."
