Authorities have found their
van submerged in a river in Eastern
North Carolina.

Human remains were also found but
have not yet been identified.

Gail Haddock-Dail and 15-year old
Heather Lynn Roberts disappeared last
December.

At that time police traced a cell
phone call to the same area of North
Carolina where the van was found, but
searches of streams, ponds and rivers
turned up nothing.

Investigators were working on
another missing person case when they
found the van yesterday.

Montgomery County's
Superintendent got in on the Halloween

fun this afternoon.

Dressed as Raggedy Ann, she
surprised students at Christiansburg
Primary School.

Tiffany Anderson gave out
stickers, spider rings and healthy
treats.

She says she's been doing this
for years and that she only dresses up
as characters from books to encourage
kids to read. (END VO) (END VO)
