Election officials say for many people
this is the first time they've actually

But what's alarming democratic

:00 This award is given annually to
the best quarterback in the nation.

Vick is one 15 semi-finalists for
the honor - and it is a stout list of
candidates to say the least. Matt
Leinhart, Notre Dame's Brady Quinn,
Penn State's Michael Robinson, and
Texas quarterback Vince Young make up
just some of the competition he faces.

Meanwhile, Miami left Tech with a
win, but in the end suffered a tough
loss.

Tyrone Moss - the Canes' starting

tailback has a torn ligament in his
left knee. He will have surgery this
coming Monday and miss the rest of the
year.

Here's the play that hurt the
knee. Tim Sandidge gets a hold of his
left leg, and it stays put while his
right leg tries to unsuccessfully move
his body forward.

Moss had 12 touchdowns this
season.

It's a tongue in cheek effort to

missing from games.

It's worth checking out in that
fans can ticket upgrades and two for

:00 The news is not so good for
former Tigers and current Phillies'
pitcher Ugueth Urbina, who has been
arrested on attempted murder charges.
Last month, Urbina and a group of men
allegedly attacked five workers with
machetes and poured gasoline on them in
an attempt to set them on fire. All
five were injured, some of them with
cuts and one with burns according to

police said.

Urbina insists he had nothing to
do with the incident that that took
place at his family's ranch in Caracas,
Venezuela.

A Hong Kong restaurant chain is
serving ice cream that contains meat so
it can be served as a main course.

Pappagallo's restaurants are

topping some of the dishes with fruit
to look like pizza or sushi.

The 60-flavors are being marketed
as Italian-Style gelato.

The restaurant is experimenting
with one dish that tastes like
proscuitto, thinly sliced ham.

Experts say the ice cream gets a
better response from customers if
certain rules are followed, tops among
them: "avoid using tuna."
