Sheriff's deputies and State
Troopers are still searching for a man
they believe shot two people in the New
River Valley.

of Giles County.

officers have been searching the area
ever since.

General's race.

With all but three precints
reporting, Republican Bob McDonnell
leads Democrat Creigh Deeds by about
14-hundred votes.

McDonnell this afternoon claimed
victory but Creigh Deeds feels
confident he'll become attorney general
elect once all the votes are counted.

Monday Tim Kaine's father-in-law
was scheduled to have surgery for
bladder cancer today.

Linwood Holton was
Virginia's first Republican governor
since Reconstruction, serving from 1970
to 1974.

Holton appeared pale and

This morning, Kaine said he
