.22 caliber handgun took aim at school
administrators.

and bleeding-he was able to reach the
school intercom and order a

lockdown, triggering a safety plan
already in place.

Bartley, a freshman, was grazed by a
bullet from his own gun as he

wrestled with the victims and a
teacher.his motive is still unknown.

According to students, Bartley has a
reputation for trouble but no one

suspected he was capable of murder.

He is being held in a nearby juvenile
detention facility. Because of his

age, authorities are still unsure if
will be charged as a juvenile or

has died of injuries from a roadside
bombing Monday in Iraq.

retriever puppy.

California.

There's nothing medically wrong with
him, he's just green.

The dog's owner says he's mystified
by the color.

Veterinarians say it's possible for
a newborn puppy's fur to be green,
because the placenta rubs off at birth.

But some skeptics say it could be a
dye job.

Either way, the owner's already
chosen a name to reflect the dog's
unusual color-- Wasabi-- the name of
that spicy green mustard you put on
sushi.
